A Christian man killed by a sword and three others were
injured in the attack made by a group of unidentified people in the eve of
today at Gilgal Church Christian Worship Centre at Pasiansi, Ilemela District,
in Mwanza Tanzania.
Incident occurred on 21st October, 2013 at 1 pm midnight,
where Elia Lunyamila (35), who is a
chairman of the Youth Group of the church, was killed when he joined in
worship with other believers. Alex Msakuzi
and Tumsifu Pungu, were injured and their condition is not good. They are
admitted at Bugando Referral Hospital, in Mwanza. The deceased was also a security
officer of the church
Bishop of the Church, Eliab Sentoz, said if the Police Force
determines to abolish and stop these harsh and cruel actions possible.The
Regional Police Commander, Ernest Mangu has confirmed the incident occurred,
until now no information of a stolen anything in the church, something that
adds more questions about the event itself.
In recent days, Tanzania is witnessing radical Muslims
killed, injured, acid attack to clergies and lay Christians in the campaign to
eradicate what they call Christendom System in the country.
Tanzania is a secular state constitutionally.
