CHURCH PERSECUTION IN SOUTH AFRICA: PASTOR MUKHUBA LAMENTS

This is a speech by Pastor Mukhuba of The Unit Fellowship Church in Johannesburg, South Africa, as she was lamenting for the Persecution of Church in South Africa. She argued the entire Body of Christ in the land to stand together against those persecutions. This is what exactly she said:

“Greeting Brethren in the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ. I’m here to talk to you about “The March for Jesus Christ” that is going to take place on Monday of 7th December, 2015 at 9 a.m. I want to talk to you about what this match is about. This match is the march by the body of Jesus Christ. We are going to be marching, meeting at Mary Fitzgerald Square, 122 Bree Street Newtown, Next to Museum Africa and Market Theatre, Johannesburg. We are going to assemble there and then after that we are going to march to the Office of the Premier of Gauteng, Honorable David Makhura.

The reason for the march is that we need to stand against the Persecution of the Church here in South Africa. We are seeing a lot of things happening that are against our Churches, against the Christian Churches, and it’s real worrying, because at the rate at which is going, if we do not say anything, soon we are not going to be allowed to worship our LORD freely, in this country.

And by the way the right to worship God is enshrined in the Constitution of South Africa. But these days we find that that is no longer respected. Many departments of our government are going against the very same things that are protected by our Constitution. That’s to worship our God.

I’m going to read from the Book of Esther chapter 3:8-11 NKJV “Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom, their laws are different from all other people’s and they do not keep the king’s laws. Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them remain. If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed, and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who do the work, to bring it into the king’s treasuries. So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. And the king said to Haman, “The money and the people are given to you, to do with them as seems good to you.”

This is something that happened a long time ago. There was a man who was against the people of God. And he decided that he was going to pay money into the king’s treasuries, so that he can be given permission to go and annihilate the Jews. He wanted to stop their existence. He wanted them to be killed all of them without mercy. That’s why he parted with money. He said there are people in this kingdom who are not observing the laws of the king. Who are not worshiping the way they should worship. There are people the way they should worship which is determined by the kingdom of that time. And he went to the extent of taking out money to pay for the lives of those people so that they could be killed

And it happened that he was given that permission. A decree was made that the Jews all of them should be killed. And when it was like that Mordecai, a Jew heard about it, and it real disturbed him. And queen Esther who was also a Jew, was a queen at that time to king Ahasueros. And it happened that Mordechai sent a word to queen Esther to pledge for the lives of the Jew. Queen Esther was afraid; she said that real you know Mordecai that not everybody is allowed to go before the king if they are not called. It’s a risk to their lives. And I’m going to read to you what Mordecai replied to what Esther said. I’m going to read to Esther 4:13-16 NKJV “And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day, My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, who is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”

My brother my sister, you have heard what we have read here. These were terrible times for the Jews. They were about to be killed. And Mordecai had to go to Esther to say Esther you have to do something. The Jews are under attack here, you have to act, you have to go open your mouth to the king and convince him to protect the lives of the Jews. And when Esther was doubtful, Mordecai had to remind her that by the way you are also a Jew. Deliverance of the Jews can come from elsewhere, but don’t think that you at your father’s house are going to be spared. And Mordecai reminded Esther that who knows may be you are in the kingdom, you are in the palace for such a time as this. May be God put you where you are so that you can play role of serving the lives of the Jews from the hands of the enemy.

How is this relevant to the state of things today, this is relevant to the state of things today because if you can look around the Christian church is sold to his enemies. It looks like the same thing happened is happening now. It looks like the church has to stop existing. Remember there, are those enemies who do not hesitate to pay money in order to get what they want. And now it is the time for servants of God, this is the time for Christians to stand up and speak and seek a help from God, and also to go and open their mouth to their rulers and the king and say that king spare our lives. If we do not stand up and we talk to our rulers and our government that we do not want what is happening, we are seeing the plenty of enemies about the church and we cannot keep quite. If we don’t do that, we are going to die. We are going to lose the freedom to worship. Our children won’t be allowed to call upon the Name Jesus Christ, and we won’t be allowed to leave the Christian life, We are going to perish, we are not going to have freedom to can worship our God the way He wants to be worshiped.

Many people are comfortable just going to the church and coming back from church and continue with their lives, but at the present stage things are not right.

To you who is listening to me right now it’s your time to go out and talk to our rulers that real you can stop us from worship God freely, you cannot stop us from reading the Bible, you cannot stop us from teaching our children the Ways of God.

We are at the time where the church of Christ is facing Persecution, where the Church of Christ is about to be stopped from existence.” Lamenting Pastor Mukhuba.

On my side the sincere quote of this kind of persecution is squeezing style and is not operating only in South Africa but worldwide with the most pressing in the continent of Africa.

One of the mechanism which is used to oppress and persecute Christians is Secular Impulse oppression.
A lot has to be shed light to Church leaders and lay Christians on how to discern and undo this challenges as we do else where.
The Body of Christ world wide must immediately respond to this helard.
Pray for the Church in South Africa as She organizes How to Stand Strong Through This Storm.
