SOME CRITICAL PROVISIONS WHICH TANZANIAN MUSLIMS ARE YEARNINGS TO SEE IN THE NEW COMING CONSTITUTION.

1).   The constitution must recognize the existence of God.
(Which God: Allah of the Bible or Allah of the Qur'an, or deities of the tradition beliefs?) Tanzania is a secular state. If you read their statement between the lines you will soon realize that they mean: Allah of Islam must reign in Tanzania.

Constitutionally all religions in Tanzania enjoy equal treatment of freedom of worship.
This demand means to change Tanzania secular state into religious state. But, which shall be the state religion? This sounds awkward to Tanzanians.

2). The coming constitution must guarantee the freedom of worship.
     (The
constitution already has guaranteed all Tanzanians freedom of worship in  article 19 (1-3))
But  Muslims demand the government to offer them  complete rest on Fridays, contrary to the     Qur'anic instructions,  which is silent about it.    Read the Qur'an  in Suratul Jumu'a, 62:9-10. Their demand here means extra favor of religious preference over other religions in the country.

3). Government must honor the religious days of Islam including the days of prayers.
(Already there is provision in the constitution). Do they demand more than what is mentioned in the Qur'an?

4). Muslims demand Equality in Education system
   They need in the
constitution to grant equal representative in the National Examination Council of Tanzania). I'm not sure if that will solve the long backward system of education in the Islamic culture, because they always demonstrate on roads to protest what they call eradication of the Western Education System without having another system to replace with.

5). Muslims demand of Shariah system (Islamic law) in the secular constitution. But the Qur'an has given a way out,  and what to  do, if  a radical Muslim like  what is happening in Tanzania now, notice that there is no complete application of the shariah system.

SOLUTION:
In The Noble Quran English Translation of the Meaning and Commentary, by Madina University pg. 95 states: “What is said about residence, (staying) in the land of Ash-Shirk (polytheism) i.e. the land where polytheism is practiced). Narrated Samurah bin Jundub (r.a) Allah’s Messenger said “Anybody (from among the Muslims) who meets, gathers together, lives, and stays (permanently) with a Mushirik (polytheist or a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah, etc) and agrees to his ways, opinion etc, and enjoys his living with him (Mushrik) then he (that Muslim) is like him (Mushirik).
(This hadith indicates that a Muslim should not stay in a non-Muslim country, he must emigrate to a Muslim country, where Islam is practiced).”
Tanzania is a Non-Muslim country!

6). Ant-Terrorist Act must cease to be executed.
People of good will know that Ant-Terrorism Act, is meant to those who practice terrorism and not to Muslim, because they believe that Islam is not terrorism. Therefore such  demand  may portray a rumors that Islam is real terrorism, which in my opinion, which is not true.  Therefore,  they must stop demanding eradication of the ant-terrorist Act.

CONCLUSION: The above mentioned statements have been disseminated among the Muslims community in Tanzania in line with their interest to propagate Islam. They always thirst to see in a few years to come, Tanzania must fall in the hands of Muslims and reinstate shariah system. GOD FORBIDS!
NB: We will soon release the book titled: "SUMU YA UDINI"  (Religiosity: Green Snake In Green Grass)
