TWO CHURCH BUILDINGS WERE TORCHED IN TANGA TANZANIA

The wave of torching and demolishing churches in Tanzania, is still on move.
 On 17th May, 2013, two church buildings of Pentecostal Evangelism Fellowship of Africa (P.E.F.A)-Bethany at Donge in Tanga region, Tanzania, were torched by unknown.  No human injury was reported.
Tanga region is most dominated by Muslims.

Chairman of the Tanga Christian Churches Association, Bishop Dr. Jotham  Mwakimage, said, the old building turned completely  into ash, while the new one only its altar was damaged.

Bishop Dr. Mwakimage is the bishop of Tanzania Assemblies of God (T.A.G) at Kombezi  in Tanga,
The Bishop of P.E.F.A was on a journey to Mozambique when the incident took place.

Tanga Regional Police Commander, Constantine Massawe said no body is arrested as suspect. He insisted the clergies to organize concrete security in their church buildings compound.

This incident, took place few days, after another incident, which involved the blast of bomb at the Catholic St. Joseph Parish at Olasiti in Arusha, where three Christians died and left more than 60 injured.
