A CHRISTIAN KILLED DURING OVERNIGHT PRAYER IN KAGERA TANZANIA

Un idenfied people with sharp weapons, on 9th October, 2014 attacked the Christians of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (P.A.G) church at Busimbe Parish, Kitendagulo Ward, Bukoba Urban District, Kagera region in Tanzania and killed one while injuring the other in their church.

Host Pastor Faustine Joseph, said, the late Dioniz Ng'wandu (31) a church member and a teacher at Kagemu Secondary School, was killed on that attack, while Temistores (25), was, seriously, injured on his left foot and later was admitted at Kagera Regional Hospital for treatment.

No theft or destruction of the church properties, was reported.

Police report no. BUK/RB/6166/2012 of 10/10/2014. Regional Criminal Officer has confirmed the incident.

The late will be buried on 12th October, 2014 at Kilimahewa in Mwana region, his home town.

Attacks against Christians seems to elevate in Tanzania, despite the efforts  of the government to control them.

Some religious leaders and laymen Christians have been killed, while others attacked by acid by the extremist Muslims. Some of whom have been arrested and charged. Their cases continue in courts.

Constitutionally, Tanzania is a secular state.

Please pray for Temistores at hospital for his immediate recovery  and the widow and two children of the late Dioniz.
